ANCRiSST2020

The 15th International Workshop on Advanced Smart Materials and Smart Structures Technology (ANCRiSST2020) will be held at Purdue University located in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA July 17-20th.
ANCRiSST 2020 aims to explore the application and integration of smart materials and structures technologies into our everyday world. We invite researchers to share their progress toward these common objectives and to facilitate a strong community on this important and timely theme. Topics and interests include, for instance, dynamics, structural control, real-time hybrid simulation, metamaterials, robotics for inspection, computer vision, etc and applications of smart structures and materials.

The deadline for abstract submission: March 1, 2020.  For more information, please visit: ANCRiSST 2020.

8IWSCM

The 8th International Workshop on Structural Control (8IWSCM) will be held May 29-30 at Columbia University in New York. The International Workshop on Structural Control and Monitoring, organized by the International Association on Structural Control and Monitoring (IASCM), is held every 4 years, and is staggered by two years from each of the World Conferences on Structural Control and Monitoring. The first workshop was held in 1993 in Honolulu, the second in 1996 in Hong Kong, the third in Paris in 2000, the 4th in New York, the 5th in Dalian (China), the 6th in Sydney (Australia), the 7th in Incheon (Korea). The workshops are typically smaller than the world conferences, and in fact, serve as a focused forum to chart new directions in the field.

EACS 2020

The 7th European Conference on Structural Control (EACS 2020) will be held in Warsaw, Poland, at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences. This conference series has started in 1996 and progressed successfully over the years under the auspices of the European Association for the Control of Structures (EACS). Its previous editions have been organized in Barcelona (1996), Paris (2000), Vienna (2004), St. Petersburg (2008), Genoa (2012) and Sheffield (2016).

Warsaw, a vibrant and welcoming city, is the cultural and political capital of Poland. The historic Old Town and the red-bricked Royal Castle are Warsaw’s must-see. Meticulously rebuilt from rubles after WW2, the Old Town is known for its unique mixture of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. Lazienki Park is a place of tranquility in the very heart of the busy city. It hosts the Fryderyk Chopin monument and two open-air Chopin concerts by famous pianists each summer Sunday. The iconic Palace of Culture and Science looms over the Financial District. Once a controversial gift from Soviet Union, it is still the highest building in Poland.

The new deadline for abstract submission: February 16, 2020. For more information, please visit: EACS 2020
