Paula Campesino, an Environmental Engineering doctoral student, received the Southeast Desalting Association’s (SEDA’s) 2021 Scholarship Award, which is annually awarded students with outstanding academic and service records pursuing a degree relating to drinking water and wastewater treatment industries. The award provides $2,500 of support to Paula for the 2021-2022 academic year. The Southeast Desalting Association (SEDA) formed in 1994 as an affiliate of the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA). SEDA is dedicated to the improvement of the quality of water supplies through membrane desalting and filtration, water reuse, and other water sciences. The Association includes members concerned with environmental regulations and legislation, process design, equipment manufacture, plant operations and maintenance, and research and development.
