Dr. Yahya Alassaf (Construction Engineering, UCF) has been appointed as the new Dean of Engineering at the Northern Border University in Saudi Arabia. NBU was established in 2008 and has 16 Colleges. The University is the home of over 15,000 students with over two-thirds of them female. The College of Engineering at NBU has five departments and two ABET-accredited programs. Dean Alassaf plans to introduce new graduate programs at the College and increase female enrollment.
